A BBQ and a Miracle

This past Saturday I was honored to not only be asked to attend a special Volunteer Appreciation BBQ for the Pride Center of the Capital Region, but also sing the National Anthem at the second of a double header game between the Amsterdam Mohawks and Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. It was a wonderful day of making new connections, breaking a french fry world record, and being out and about in my community. Anyways, I’ve got some catch-up to do. I’ve just been so busy I haven’t had time to blog each night. I’m very sorry. 😦

Last Saturday, after the Pride Festival, I headed back to my hometown, Fultonville, for the annual block party: “Party in the Perk.”

Even though I returned home from Staten Island exhausted and sick, I didn’t miss a beat jumping back into my community.
